If you've never tried Progressive Muscle Relaxation, then you are missing out! PMR is a classic skill that helps reduce muscle tension, decrease stress, turn on the parasympathetic nervous system. It is part of a process to learn to turn down anxiety and it can also be helpful with sleep. I do a mini version of Progressive Muscle Relaxation probably a dozen times a day.
